For many years the Covenanter Hotel's Restaurant with visitors and locals alike has had a reputation for good food and has become synonymous with special occasions.

It is our belief that our customers should receive the best quality food and service for the money they pay. Whilst there may be cheaper, we believe that we cannot be beaten on price for the quality of product that we deliver in our 2 RAC Dining Award restaurant and bistro.

The dishes are traditional British combinations translated in a modern way. We use only the very best and the very freshest ingredients and wherever possible from the local area which produces excellent lobster, game, vegetables, herbs and seafood.

Dishes such as a truly delicious 'Duck and Pistachio Terrine with Kumquat Chutney' and 'Fife Pheasant on Watercress and Potato Rosti with Port and Autumn Berry Jus' as well as some distinctly wicked 'Poached Pears in Gin served with Lavender Ice Cream' are just some of the fantastic combinations that we have to offer.

If you feel like treating yourself during the summer months we are well known for being one of the best places to try Fife Lobster at a very reasonable price and we are famous for our Char-Grilled Aberdeen Angus Steaks coated in our own secret recipe marinade.
